Socky Bombs are a springy, well structured Superwash Merino sock yarn with a bit of tencel for shine and nylon for strength and elasticity. Each ball is dyed in a color change ombre that shifts gracefully from one shade to the next. There are typically between 9 and 12 shade transitions in each ball. One 440 yard Shawlette ball will knit a shawlette or cowl, or pair two balls for a full size shawl. (Tip: either alternate every two rows for a larger version of the same color shift, or change yarn halfway through the project and knit the second ball from the outside for a mirror dyed effect.) Since all Panorama yarn is hand-dyed, expect some variation between hanks of the same colorway.
